The Corporate Material Planner responsibilities include both demand management and inventory planning of specific product lines. They will plan inventory, schedule manufacturing orders and coordinate the flow of work and materials to meet delivery expectations of forecasted and actual sales while minimizing inventory levels. The Corporate Material Planner will reflect demand changes in our planning systems to ensure high accuracy of forecast needs and ensure accuracy in inventory records, item usage history, and forecasting files.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and a high-level of organization.
Computer literacy required, including MS Office (Excel) and ERP/MRP experience
Personal attributes must include integrity and ability to conduct self in a firm, fair, friendly and consistent manner.
Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on customer service, accuracy and timeliness.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of one-year work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of Inventory Control.
Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
