Position Summary:

The Financial Controller position is responsible for the financial operations and treasury management of the Company, to include the production of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, maintenance of an adequate system of financial records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate corporate risk, as well as improve the Company’s financial communications. 

RESPONSIBLITIES AND RESULTS

Management:

• Assist in maintain and enforce a monitoring and managing the organization’s bank relationships and liquidity management
• Analyzing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management 
• Forecasting of medium and long-term funding requirements
• Daily cash management of customer deposits and supplier payments
• Debt facilities management including supporting necessary banking requirements
• Supporting the month end process where necessary

Reporting:

• Review monthly financial reporting information disseminated to lenders.
• Coordinate the preparation of a comprehensive internal reporting packages to evaluate key performance metrics across the Company.
• Assist in the review, preparation, and monitoring of the annual corporate budgets, including operations and capital expenditures. 
• Preparing management and board reports

Other:

• Actively engage in recurring projects, such as annual third-party ESOP valuation, annual bank fixed asset appraisals, annual insurance audits, and semi-annual bank audits etc.
• Provide on-going monitoring of corporate cash balances to ensure efficient use of Company capital.
• Perform and evaluate cost benefit analyses, including plant continuous improvement projects, structuring of vendor payment terms, negotiating lease terms, etc.

• Work is generally performed within a professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Will be expected to travel on a limited basis to production locations in North America, third-party offices, or to potential acquisition targets to conduct due diligence. Periodic but temporary weekend or evening work is expected.
