Position Summary:
The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a dynamic group of software engineers focused on building, modifying, and implementing software tools to support manufacturing plants. This will be a hands-on role responsible for scheduling, assignment prioritization, high-level technical support, and execution, and implementation. The candidate will also collaborate with other internal groups and will need to be capable of influencing others even without direct reporting structure. With the Director of Automation this leader will help implement Challenge Manufacturing’s automation roadmap. This role will need to combine software engineering, controls, automation, and process engineering knowledge with a technologically progressive mindset and passion for digital transformation. This person must be a continuous learner driven to explore and understand new technologies and solutions.
