What You'll Do:

  • Fabricators are necessary for manufacturers to deliver reliable and efficient machinery or products. Their primary job is to fit and install parts for various technologies, including airplanes, computers, electric motors and devices. They also wield and solder pieces together or attach them with bolts and nuts. 
  • Fabricators and Assemblers are required to have a range of skills to perform their roles across various industries. Focusing on maintaining quality and craftsmanship in the products they fabricate, Fabricators typically do the following: 
  • Read detailed schematics for complex machines
  • Use hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components into the final product.
  • Weld and solder pieces together
  • Align components and connect them with bolts and screws
  • Work with collaborative robots (Fanuc/ABB) to produce and assemble components
  • Find faulty components in defective products to fix them
