What You'll Do:

  • Load, unload, inspect, and pack parts in assembly cells or stamping presses following customer approved specifications
  • Follow written procedures (JES), monitor quality and communicate production and quality issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor
  • Ensure health, safety and 5S policies and standards are followed. Report any unsafe conditions to Supervisor immediately.
  • Move or transfer components and parts to workstations from racks, boxes, carousels, etc.

When and Where:

These positions are located at our Plant 1 Facility on 3 Mile in Walker MI

1st, 2nd & 3rd shift options 

Days / times vary by department

What You Need to Have:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Legally authorized to work in the US; Challenge Mfg participates in E-Verify to verify work eligibility.
  • Able to have and maintain a good work/attendance record.
  • Able to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment, including, but not limited to: exposure to noise, fumes, dirt, heat, sparks, and smoke.
  • Able to perform job related duties, including, but not limited to: frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, turning and lifting.
