Position Summary:

Support the sales and estimating processes

 

Requirements:

  1.  Issue RFQ’s
  2.  Submit RFQ responses
  3.  Process purchase orders and contracts
  4.  Draft and issue authorizations to proceed
  5.  Maintain and download customer specific requirements and specifications

 

COMPETENCIES

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years supporting sales and / or estimating departments

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years supporting sales and / or estimating departments in automotive manufacturing
  1. Proficient at use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  2. Basic internet proficiency
  3. Simple math proficiency
  4. Ability to effectively communicate with personnel in varying roles, in person, via telephone and email
  5. Comfortable enforcing procedures if other personnel request circumventing processes
