Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic and propane powered industrial trucks.

  • Follows standard work and daily checklists to ensure that all assigned tasks are performed to standard and meet expectations.
  • Have essential capabilities in the following: Interpersonal skills, memory, and attention to detail
  • Attend to emergencies when necessary
  • Perform preventative maintenance on Hilo batteries
  • Addresses daily safety inspection fails
  • Replace hydraulic hoses
  • Respond to emergency repair requests
  • Utilize and generate Total Trax reports
  • Conduct training and certify/re-certify material handlers
  • Assist the other maintenance employees when necessary to minimize equipment down time
  • Ability to acquire certification for LOTO, Aerial Lift Equipment, Forklift and Floor Scrubber
  • Other duties assigned by the Management.


  • Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions.
  • Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
  • Respectful and able to take direction
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Forklift service technician certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Ability to obtain industrial truck and aerial platform licenses
  • Ability to pass a basic mechanical aptitude test
  • Five or more years of relevant experience
  • Mechanical certification in powered industrial equipment (scissor lift; Hilo; man-lift)
  • Experience using Total Trax or similar reporting system
