Who We Want:
This position maintains, repairs, and assists in upgrades of highly automated robotic and non-robotic equipment. The following processes may be encountered: resistance welding of steel and aluminum, projection welding, MIG welding, robotic dispensing applications of body sealant and adhesive, drawn arc stud welding, flow drill, and various rivet assembly equipment.
What You'll Do:
- Read, interpret, and update electrical prints, wiring and ladder diagrams, schematics and other technical literature.
- Diagnose and repair faulty controls systems with a multi-meter, oscilloscope, or other electrical testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Modify, write, and troubleshoot robot programs.
- Participate in preventative actions where appropriate. Conducts corrective actions and perform problem solving analysis and reporting as required.
- Ability to apply common sense and deal with a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Maintain and participate in housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
- Technical Skills – Can read and interpret electrical prints, wiring and ladder diagrams, schematics, and other technical literature. Ability to use multi-meter, oscilloscope, or other electrical testing equipment.
- Understanding of electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot robot programs. Ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment. Proven mechanical and equipment repair skills.
When and Where:
This will be a 1 Shift / 6 AM-4:30 PM MT with some OT position located at our Plant in Walker MI

- Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
