POSITION PURPOSE
Repair parts/components that are non-conforming to customer specification by welding, grinding, or other methods as required.
RESPONSIBLITIES AND RESULTS

- Performs all duties to ensure department and plant meet daily and weekly production requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment
- Repair parts/components – Mig welds
- Tag Parts
- Move parts to correct location in the plant/facility
- Participate in preventative actions where appropriate
- Utilization of Plex
- Conduct housekeeping for personal work area or shared facility space
- Maintain welding equipment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions.
- Frequent exposure to noise, fumes, dirt, heat, sparks, and smoke
- Frequently bends, twists, turns, and lifts while performing functions of position
- Working with/around moderately-sized equipment within a work area
- Requires high school graduate or equivalent
- 3-5 years in relevant work experience preferred
- Must be able to pass and maintain necessary MIG welding certification
- Reliable regarding attendance and performance
- Adhere to safety rules of the plant – including PPE requirements
