We are currently looking for a Corporate Advanced Tooling Engineering Intern to join our team!
What You'll Do:
- Tooling Design and Prototype Development Assist in the design and development of new tooling for the production line
- Create basic CAD designs, contribute to prototyping efforts, and test new tools or tooling modifications
- Tool Performance Analysis and Improvement Conduct an assessment of existing tools used in manufacturing processes
- Perform tests on tool wear, durability, and effectiveness and suggest recommendations for tool improvements or maintenance schedules
- Updating and Standardizing Tooling Maintenance Documentation
- Help update and standardize documentation related to tooling maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
- Assist in developing clear guides and systems to ensure consistency and efficiency in tooling lifecycle management
When and Where:
This will be a 830AM-5PM M-F position located at our Corporate Office in Walker, MI.
What You Need to Have:
- Must be pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree related to Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a accredited college or university
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be considered for the Internship program
- Must have superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in global manufacturing environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
