Who We Want:
We are looking for a dynamic Training Facilitator who is passionate about helping others learn, grow, and succeed. As a Training Facilitator you will manage and deliver training experiences for employees at all levels of the organization, to provide new hires and incumbent team members with the knowledge, skills, and learning experiences necessary to meet the expectations for their various roles and responsibilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conducts New Hire Orientation for employees to prepare them to work safely, accurately, and to perform at rate while producing quality products for our customers.
  • Deliver training in-person, virtually, or asynchronously with our computer-based training system.
  • Teach learners the documented procedures for using technical equipment like gauges, HMI’s, aerial cranes, powered industrial lift trucks, and other equipment to ensure safe operation, compliance to our quality management system, and in support of all applicable, federal, state and local requirements.
  • Evaluate, certify, and document employee’s ability to perform work required by our competency frameworks, Common Core and Manufacturing Training Checklists.
  • Proctor knowledge checks, skilled trades testing, and other validation tasks to verify level of knowledge and comprehension for employees with integrity.
  • Responsible for data entry of training activity and outcomes to maintain accurate and defensible training records.
  • Provide accurate KPI’s & employee data to support Weekly Review of Training Needs and Skills Gaps with Top Leadership to address skill gaps.

When and Where:

This will be a 1st Shift / 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM M-F position located at our Plant in Irvine, TX.

Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.

What You Need to Have:

  • High School diploma/GED required; higher education experience preferred
  • Two years manufacturing experience required; leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrable public speaking, corporate training, or instructional facilitation experience required.
  • Is thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks; demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of work
  • Professional speech and attitude while communicating with different genders, cultures, religions, beliefs, and ethnicities.
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
  • Takes positive action to objectively resolve conflict by listening, staying focused on issue to find resolution, and monitoring progress. Maintains positive relationships by constructively resolving conflicts
  • Works with a sense of urgency to meet the needs of customers and demonstrates excellent customer service towards learners and colleagues.
  • Strong time management skills to be able to balance preparation, instruction, grading, data entry and contingencies as they arise
  • Knowledge of Challenge safety policies and their impact on team member wellness.
  • Demonstrates professionalism through dress and appearance, written and verbal communication and language, and preparedness.
  • Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships.
